Frequently Asked Questions
Find clear answers about scanned PDF editing, scanned processing, normal PDF editing, browser-based processing, dummy ads, and current product limits.
Only edit documents that you own or are legally authorized to modify. Do not use this website to alter documents for fraud, misrepresentation, identity misuse, or any illegal purpose. You are fully responsible for how you use edited documents; Edit Scanned PDF is not responsible for unlawful or unauthorized use.
Can Edit Scanned PDF edit scanned PDFs?
Yes. Choose scanned mode so scanned processing can prepare scanned content on image-based pages. After scanned processing, you can work with the detected editable result and other editing tools.
Can it edit normal PDFs?
Yes. Choose normal PDF mode when the document is generated digitally. This is the better workflow for generated PDFs, invoices, reports, forms, and digital documents.
Do you upload my PDF to a server?
No backend upload is used in the current frontend version. The PDF is opened and processed by scripts running in your browser.
Why is scanned document preparation not always perfect?
Scanned document preparation depends on scan quality, page angle, contrast, fonts, and image clarity. Always review important names, dates, amounts, and legal text before using the final PDF.
Are the ads real?
No. Current ad boxes are dummy placeholders only. They reserve safe future ad space and do not connect to Google AdSense or another ad network yet.
